About these terms

These terms apply whenever you use Welcome Point, whether you have an account or you have simply opened a Welcome Point link or QR code.

By using the platform you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use Welcome Point.

Your account

You are responsible for keeping your sign in details secure and for activity carried out under your account.

You must give accurate information when you create an account and keep it up to date.

Using the platform

Welcome Point helps travellers find their way around a stay and helps hosts share local knowledge. Suggestions are guidance, not professional advice.

• Do not use the platform for anything unlawful.
• Do not attempt to access accounts, data or systems you are not entitled to.
• Do not scrape, resell or republish content without permission.

Content and ownership

Hosts, local places and destination partners keep ownership of the content they publish, and grant Welcome Point a licence to display it to travellers.

Welcome Point owns the platform, its design and its underlying software.

Availability and change

We may update, suspend or withdraw parts of the platform. Where a change materially affects you, we will give reasonable notice.

Liability

Nothing in these terms excludes rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law. Subject to those rights, Welcome Point is provided as is and we are not liable for indirect loss.
